Absolutely fabulous food! My best friend suggested this place and I agreed. I had the lamb gyro with fries. This place rivals the food I am used to eating in New York City. Absolutely delicious!
I LOVE going to Starmix. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The owners are always smiling and aim to please. You will not regret going there to eat. Try the gyros! Yum!!! The rice bowl is also amazing and my aunt loved it!
They have the most tender beef I've ever had. And the seasoning is awesome. I'm going to try their Philly steak next time. I recommend this place highly.
Hands down this is the best place for gyros and mixed meats over rice in the area and easily resembles exactly what you would get in NYC! This is was my first time visiting this establishment and will now be my go to spot for my usual gyro and lamb and chicken over rice when in the area! I Highly recommend and look forward to trying everything else on the menu! Thank you Star Mix employees for cheffing it up!
My family and I Have been coming to Star Mix for years and have never been disappointed. The owners successfully operated a food truck in New York City, and have brought their talents to Oneonta. The food is well executed and seasoned to perfection. I particularly enjoy their mix rice bowls, and their lamb Gyros. Their homemade sauces are amazing as well. As far as price goes, Star Mix is very affordable. The service Is top-notch and professional. Overall, our community is truly lucky to have restaurants like this. I highly recommend that folks try it out.
We decided spontaneously to go out to dinner tonight. After looking online to find a place to eat, we came across Star Mix Grill. I am so happy that we did. My husband had the lamb gyro and I had a chicken gyro. The gyro's were stuffed full of food and a good portion of that was meat. The food was fresh and HOT. It did not taste old like many places, where they cook food too far ahead. The meat was tender on each of our plates and our sides also came out hot. They were very hospitable and friendly. Its not often I leave a restaurant satisfied with the absolutely everything and I absolutely was when I left Star Mix Grill. Will be back again soon and will definitely refer friends and family to it as well. Great food!
